Some pix from 2008

Since it's been so long since I've posted a blog on our family, I thought I'd better throw in some pictures on our growing kids. Thomas was baptized in April, played on a baseball team that won the championship for their league, and had a really great seaon of soccer. He improved a lot from last year. He had his first pinewood derby and came in first in every race. He is in 3rd grade this year and loving it.

Bella turned 6 in February, is in 1st grade, was on a dance team and also played soccer for the first time this year (Mom coached!). She loves school, dressup, and friends.

William is a happy, busy, growing boy. He is 19 months and loves nursery. His favorite thing in the world is horses. His first "word", or sound, was a horse whinney. I have never seen a kid that can pick out horses like he does--in pictures, books, on TV; it's incredible! His favorite movie, of course, is "Spirit". He gives great hugs and kisses, loves to cuddle, much to his Dad's joy.

Dad and Mom are keeping our heads above water just barely. Jerry is finishing an 8 month contract at Novell we had a chance to have. We will be closing the Orem New York Burrito and Sub Zero. A chapter of our life we are hesitant to close, but also a little relieved to be done with (it would be easier to leave it behind if we didn't have debt still from it!). We will continue to work and grow Sub Zero. We are the librarians in our ward, and Naomi was called recently as Cub Committe Chair. I'm glad to be back in Cub Scouts, actually. I have missed it, and with Thomas in scouts now (he's a Wolf), I'm glad to be involved. The one vacation we made it on this year was to Park City, and we stopped at Cascade Springs (up American Fork Canyon) on the way for some good pictures.
